1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on VGate or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

VGate provides a society management platform including AI-powered gate entry, maintenance payment collection, complaint management, visitor tracking, amenity booking, and resident communication tools for Indian gated communities.

3. Free Trial

New societies are entitled to a 1-month free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required during the trial period. After the trial, the service continues at ₹0.50 per unit per day, billed monthly.

4. Payment Terms

Pricing is ₹0.50 per registered unit per day, billed monthly.
Invoices are raised on the 1st of each month for the previous month's usage.
Non-payment within 15 days will result in the account entering read-only mode.
Data is retained for 90 days after account suspension.
Payments are processed via Razorpay. We do not store card details.

5. Account Responsibility

The society admin is responsible for all activity under their account, including managing residents, security guards, and data accuracy. You must keep your login credentials secure.

6. Data Ownership

All data entered into VGate (resident details, payment records, visitor logs, complaints) belongs to your society. VGate does not claim ownership of your data.

7. Acceptable Use

VGate may only be used for legitimate society management purposes.
You may not use VGate to collect data without residents' consent.
Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to access other societies' data is strictly prohibited.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime. Planned maintenance will be announced 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for losses due to downtime beyond our control.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' written notice to hello@vgate.in. Your data will be available for export for 90 days after cancellation.

10. Limitation of Liability

VGate's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Gujarat, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification.
